Pirelli Cinturato Gravel S

Pirelli Cinturato Gravel S

The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel S launched earlier today. The benefits of gravel being mainstreamed are a lot more choices in high quality tires. Tires, like shoes or helmets, are a personal choice. So Bike Hugger hasn’t posted any shootouts or comparison in our near 20 years of publishing.

A durable tire with much grip.

We do share what we’re riding v. comparing. With the Cinturato Gravel S, Pirelli completes their range of gravel tires. The S (Soft Terrain), is designed for the softest and most challenging terrain. The sculpted tread pattern was developed by Pirelli engineers to loose gravel like the Palouse to Cascade Trail east of I-90.

Like all the other tires in Pirelli’s range, the Cinturato Gravel S is made with the SpeedGRIP compound. The casing is 60 TPI nylon. The casing is protected by a “belt,” called TechWALL Gravel. It goes from bead to bead.

Expects these tires to ride easy. They also offer a durable and sturdy feel. I’d consider them ideal on wet, damp, muddy ground. That’s perfect for the upcoming fall season.

Speaking of that, you could probably use them for CX.
