Now this is a bike race. The top 4 mtb racers in the world are featured. The lead changes frequently and it’s for the overall win in the UCI World Cup.
The different styles of each racer plays to the various sections of the course. And, each racer has a different style that plays to the different sections of the course: muddy, slippery, steep, rooty, jumpy, and impossibly hard.
Those racing include:
- World Champ
- Canadian Champ
- French Champ
- Swiss Champ
At the 17 minutes you get the call ups and who’s who. It’s worth the 90 minutes to watch the thrill of victory and agony of defeat. Also see the men’s recap (not as thrilling).
So What Happened?
The UCI World Cup leaders in both the Elite Women’s and Men’s competition completed the season by winning their respective races: Jolanda Neff (Kross Racing) took her third Women’s overall title and Nino Schurter (Scott-SRAM) his sixth Men’s title.
It was Schurter’s 30th World Cup win, putting him in an exclusive club with Julien Absalon and Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa.
