First Impression: Evil Bikes

The smoke lifted and we’ve got our summer back. Then took a pair of Evils first to Raging River and then Freund Canyon in Leavenworth. On vacation I don’t have too much to say now but the first impression is I now know why Evil is a bike with a lot of buzz in the Pacific Northwest.

In my time covering the bike industry, I’ve ridden many of the best (the worst too) and I also understand why mountain bikers buy from an internet retailer instead of a brand with a retail presence. It’s the budget sure and with Evil, a bike that was designed for the terrain around here.

I rode the Wreckoning and Pam the Calling. Both framesets cost $3099.

Climbing.
