I’m trying not to like this movie, expecting a Hollywood version of the messenger scene, but this trailer has us interested. After seeing it, I’m hoping Premium Rush joins the ranks of American Flyer, Breaking Away, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Triples of Belleville, and Quicksilver, of course.
It looks like an action-thriller with the bike as a backdrop – if there was comedic banter with some kung-fu, maybe even Rush Hour. The marketing is ensuring us the stunts were real with Danny Macaskill performing some of them. The movie is in theaters on August 24th.
