Gore Wear AllRoad Collection is now available. The collection is for cyclists who want to wear performance gear on and off the bike. And, not look like they’re in a team kit. The Explore shorts are tailored baggies without a pad.
This trend is gear started with Giro and their New Road line back in 2013. Gore released the line in men and women’s sizing, which I think is a first for them.
Of course, the fabric Gore uses is the best in the business. The Explore shorts cost $130 and are made with a new recycled nylon blend. Likewise, the blend offers a four-way stretch. High abrasion resistance and breathability. As well as, the shorts have PFC-free DWR technology and GORE-TEX INFINIUM panels to repel water.
It’s a bit early for me to demo the kit, but I’ve got it in. Will ride it as soon as the snow melts in the Methow Valley. I’m unsure how the jersey will do in the summer though, it’s a henley instead of a full zip.
