Riding the Climate Ride

I’m riding the Climate Ride this weekend with Filter for Good. The ride is known as a “green conference on wheels” because at the end of each day, featured speakers present on sustainability, renewable energy and bicycle advocacy.

The 4th annual Brita Climate Ride NYC-DC 2011, to be held May 13-17, will see more than 130 cyclists pedaling from New York City to Washington DC. The 5-day, 300 mile cycling adventure is designed to raise funds for sustainable solutions and hard-working environmental organizations. Brita provides the ride with filtered water.

Follow Along

I’ll upload the routes to Map My Tracks using the new Outfront 2.0 app. Also blog, tweet, and upload photos to Flickr from the road.

I’m there to tour on a Brompton M-Type – so dorky it’s cool– and talk with the participants

We start tomorrow from China Town and ride through Manhattan. That should result in some good photos.
