PNW Rover Hip Pack

Before Thanksgiving, the PNW Rover Hip Pack was launched. It reminded me how I don’t like anything on my back when I ride. That’s why I have barrels ($11 on Amazon) on my bike and a frame bag on my brown bike.

The new PNW hip pack in black. The sand color looks sharp too.

If my ride is long, I wear hip packs for water and food. Like the Repack the Bontrager Rapid Pack, and the new PNW Rover Hip Pack As my friends at PNW describe it…

A booster shot of trail storage with plenty of pockets to keep things organized, a cozy back panel that supports the ol’ lumbar and a smart adjustment system that feels like a good hug (not a creepily tight one).

PNW Rover Hip Pack Features

I like how the bottle (or burrito holder) is on the side. That’s super useful for the 4th season when I’m either skiing of fat biking in the snow in thick winter gear. It’s much easier to pull a bottle from the side in slippery, unpredictable terrain than stop and reach all the way around. What also makes the difference with this hip pack, is the sail cloth fabric. It feels nicely made in the hand and looks sharp. I don’t think any of your tools are going to bounce out of the pack either. The Rover Hip Pack costs $64.99 direct from PNW.
