Hardly a fashion statement, but I commute in my work uniform every day. (I haven’t driven to work since June 2—pouring rain.)
However, I am super annoyed by plain clothes riders who apparently think that their special brains don’t require helmets.
I am a fairly experienced rider, and on a short (1 mile) ride back from lunch a couple of weeks ago, I almost got creamed THREE times.
I’ve noticed these BMX style helmets and wondered why anyone would wear such a hot helmet on the road, in the summer. Great that they’re wearing helmets, but there are way more airy helmets out there.
