People of Color Ride in Seattle

Major Taylor

Major Taylor Project promotes cycling as a form of exercise, recreation, and transportation.

From the Major Taylor Project on the Burke-Gilman Trail and from the Philippines, with their water buffalo jerseys near Tukwila, People of Color were seen out riding this weekend.

Tamaraw

Tamaraw is a small water buffalo and a bike club

When I said, “unusual to see culturally diverse clubs like this in Seattle,” Both groups replied, “That’s what we’re working on. More people like us riding bikes.”

I love the different cycling groups of Seattle….

Agreed and with more women.

I have ridden with the Major Taylor folks here in San Diego during some group rides.  They are a great group of people, it is good to see clubs getting more people to ride.

I. Liked the fact of getting people riding for health that you advocate would love to see women iinclluded.
