Modal Progress

modal_progress.jpg I stopped by the shop to replace a sticky cable housing during the Fall storm ride and discovered that the Modal concept bike had been tack welded together, wrapped in plastic, and awaiting the Ti welder.

Learn more about the Modal and check the Paragon dropouts.

Wow those paragons are cool.  I didn’t really get it until I saw it on a Voodoo cross frame.  If you want to own one bike, I think the Modal covers almost all the bases (not Cross Baby!)

Yep and I could’ve opted for the disc brake option with the Paragons, but then I’d have all the rear spacing issues when toggling between modes. Check [Paragon’s parts](http://www.paragonmachineworks.com/) on their site and you’ll see the disc version.

I call it a hot-swappable dropout—I also dig the industrial machining look.
