The Ride with Ben Delaney

The Ride with Ben Delaney is now live. The best advice I ever heard about performance cycling is to just ride your bike; really, no training. My friend Ben Delaney taught me that and he’s now giving advice and more on a new YouTube channel.

The Ride with Ben Delaney is available now and I hope it is a success. Ben knows his stuff and I think he’s ridden more gravel bikes than me.

Ben has spent more than 20 years as a professional cycling journalist. On his channel, he promises to share what he’s learned (like that no training, just riding tip). And, what he continues to learn about riding bikes plus his relationships with pros.

Speaking of that, we’re riding in the Methow after losing summer to fires two years in a row and it’s been great. With warmer weather approaching, I’m putting away the gravel bike for the MTB and staying in the protection of the tree canopy. Pam is in new kit from Maloja and I’ve got the latest endurance shorts with Gore. There’s also a new bike in the stable from Alchemy.

More on that after a few rides in the North Cascades and Methow Valley
