A head badge from a Hercules Maestro, circa 1950.

These were made in England and marketed for the Quality and Strength.

In the States, lightweight was a feature and for girls too.

They were eventually bought by Raleigh and the line discontinued in 2003. Hercules live on in India as speciality bikes, including this loadster.
