You gonna do the Dirty Ace on that tandem and dial in your position to be exactly like your road bike? Coach Joe would want it that way.

I’ve got an old “Costco” tandem - Motiv brand.  It’s a bit of a POS, but I put drop bars on there with bar-end shifters so it’s a little more road-like.

Bamboo bikes are out there as well, on [Bike Portland](http://www.bta4bikes.org/btablog/2007/06/25/in-the-news-bamboo-bikes/) and spotted last year [at Interbike](http://bikehugger.com/2006/09/a_freaking_bamboo_fixie.htm).
