Aye, that guy was awesome—crazy cadence, too. I loved all the hand bikes… truly awesome, especially seeing ‘em out on the longer courses. You catch the guy on the fixie?
All the hand bikes were great and I saw two fixies and one Vanilla; also, a ton of bikes that I wanted to help them raise their saddles, switch tires, but ya know, I just rolled with it and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I either saw that guy or someone with a simialr unicycle at the Mt Baker hillclimb last weekend. He was at the top, so must have made it up! Not sure about the descent, that seems like a long long leg breaker on a unicycle, but maybe I’m just soft.
