Sorry, but the original photo of the Anachronaut! you linked to is NOT equipped with a Van de Graaf generator. That’s a simple plasma plate. They mentioned that they’d equip the Anachronaut! with one at some point in the future.

I’m with you there…think of the crowd-pleasing possibilities a Van de Graaf would provide…lightning bolts 10 feet long! Hair standing on end through the helmet vents!

Me, I want an EMF pulse generator—frying car cicuitry as I ride by. Angry motorist? WHAM…bye bye, onboard computer!
