From across the pond, we’ve got Secure Bike Stands from the Design Against Crime Research Centre
The project seeks to reduce bicycle theft by applying and integrating the design against crime approach to the design of bicycles, bicycle locks and bicycle parking via the generation of new benchmarks in terms of design standards, design methodologies, design resources, user evaluation and design education that will generate commercial product design application.
And here’s the result. I couldn’t find any good photos, but the shape of the stand works to prevent these various theft techniques (pdf).

From the Netherlands, there’s a bike rack with a built-in pump.
With the bike becoming ever more popular in our city lives, we are also seeing a rejuvenation in bicycle peripheral design.

Rethinking form, function, and design with bikes: love it.
