A beadless clincher? How is that possible? No idea either, but Bikemag tried them.
Not beadless clincher, hookless rims. Does no one remember this? It started with folding clinchers which were notorious for blowing off the rims we had at the time. I always figured hooks were added to hold those early lightweight tires on. Please tell me I’m not THAT old!
I do remember and fear this. I also thought the same thing that this wasn’t “beadless” but hookless rims too.
