A messenger in 1913
Seen on Flickr’s blog, a messenger from 1913. Back then delivering packages by bike was a job for a child laborer and not one glamorized by Hollywood or emulated on the catwalk by the fashion industry.
I’m afraid it’s not a job for a child laborer anymore. In New York City that’s a perfect job for people that don’t know English (and the traffic rules apparently).
