It’s All In A Day’s Work

+Bill Stickland posted a video today from +Ted King that’s got me laughing with schaudenfreud. Ted and Tim, two world-class pros set out on a 200 mile training ride, and brought along an amateur racer buddy, Ryan. While he started strong, over the course of the day Ryan slowly disintegrated. About five minutes into the video, he starts to look shellshocked and it only gets worse.

Remember this when you’re watching the pros tackle a climb and wonder what it’s like to live that life.

I can never get over how “puffy” Ted King looks.  He’s just one of those guys that never looks cut, but can put you into the hurt locker so fast.

In Masters racing, you can’t just judge someone’s talent by how they look. Also, out on the road, there are old dudes that don’t pin a number on to race, but will rip your legs off.
