Hincapie Premium Denim

Wore a pair of Hincapie Jeans to the After Party last night – there was a fashion show and all. Def premium jeans, fit well, with enough room for cyclists thighs. Also comfortable enough for the short bike ride from the hotel to Mellow Johnnys.

Readers may remember that we spotted Hincapie’s jeans last year when we visited Greenville SC for the Style in Motion event during the USPro Champs.

Are the jeans still “a bit coin-slotty?”

I was going to ask any of my bros to check for that, but I don’t think so—and I wore a size bigger. They do sit low. The difference in the pre-production pants I wore in Greenville was a more relaxed fit for the thighs and they were rideable.

Where can you buy them?  No mention of jeans in the casual wear section of their website…

Those just came in and are shipping to your local bike shop that carries Hincapie. Hincapie was also in the Mellow Johnnys After Party fashion show with some good looking stuff—[photos of the show here](http://tinyurl.com/d4ekg7).

Last year, I wrote about Apres Cycling clothes and with an emphasis on the Plain Clothes Cycling in 09, it’s good to see a wider range of clothes for cyclist. The Hincapie Jeans are a nice compliment to my [bike-to-work pants](http://bikehugger.com/2008/09/bike-to-work-pants-1.html).

Watch for updates on the jeans and their gear [on Hincapie’s blogs](http://www.hincapie.com/blogs/).

We are planning to have Hincapie Premium Denim available to everyone the first week of April.  You can buy them online or through some retailers.  We’re working on the launch of a new website that should be live the first week of April.  We’ll have 5 styles for men and 5 styles for women.  We’ll work with Bike Hugger to make sure you know when the site goes live.  We’re excited to launch.
