A Woman And Her Bike

This is Amber, she’s the project engineer for the Globe line of bikes, which we’re evaluating this week at a Specialized-sponsored press event. What I love about this shot is how much she’s clearly glowing while she sits on a bike she designed from the bottom up.

There are a ton of great details on this bike (and you can check them out on my flickr site until we move them over to the Hugger page). Check out the hubs, grips, saddles and other standout details.

me wantee!  how the heck did I miss y’all in my hometown?  dern it…

We wish we had more time in town; especially with Nature Valley going in, but that’s the deal with media events. Your day is full of powerpoints, product managers, and eating.

We did get out and at one point, rebelling against the schedule [to just ride](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcuvvOQLZ5o). Riding around dikeytown, we stopped abruptly in a bike lane to adjust a camera that was falling off a bike, and got a deserved “assholes” from a MPLS commuter. Sorry, but you’re 2-way bikes lanes are stupid is what I said.
