My first “adult” bike was a Univega Custom 10 that my parents bought me at about 13. I had it for 15 years or so until someone stole it.
Not available? Posh! I bought a nicer, sportier Univega just the other day!
I thought Miyata made most of the nicer Univegas, which was just the name an American importer used for his bike brand.
